Welcome to the Pittsburg Energy Infrastructure Project
The project was recently revised to remove the crude-by-rail aspect of the project. The project has no crude-by-rail capability anymore. The project is reverting back to essentially its original scope and is described as follows.
The Pittsburg Energy Infrastructure Project is the modernization and reactivation of the existing marine terminal, oil storage and transfer facilities at the NRG Pittsburg Generating Station.
These upgraded and improved facilities will be used to transport and store virgin and partially refined crude oil. Products handled at the facility will be transported by pipeline, ship or barge.
Here you will find specific information about the project and the companies that will be modernizing and operating the facilities, along with the latest news.
